Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge

Enjoy Our Favorite Lake George Eateries!

What’s on everyone’s mind during a Lake George vacation is “Where are we going to eat?” There are so many great spots to choose from that this question can be tough to answer. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or want to sit down for a hearty meal, here are a few of our favorite places for everything from ice cream to a steak dinner.

Diamond Pointe Grille: A self-proclaimed “fish and burger joint” this is a fantastic spot for families to grab a casual bite. Focused on fresh, local ingredients there’s something for everyone on the menu and a great beer selection.

Lone Bull Restaurant: How can you go wrong at a restaurant that’s a pancake and steak house that dares you to go away hungry? A Lake George breakfast staple for more than 50 years, the Lone Bull has all the classics covered and even lets you build your own omelets.

Big Moose General Store and Restaurant: This spot offers a little bit of everything with a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a convenience store and deli where you can stock up on stuff you need on the go.

The Lagoon: If you’re hungry for an awesome slice of thin crust, wood-fired brick oven pizza and a stunning view of the Lake this downtown spot is for you. Some of the best food on the Lake with a huge selection of craft beers and ciders on tap.

Olde Log Inn: Located just north of the Lake George Village, the Inn serves up American classics in an authentic cabin. Open for lunch and dinner year-round so it’s a great early season spot and perfect for a warm bowl of chili in the fall.

Martha’s Ice Cream: Just south of Lake George in Queensbury, this 75-year-old landmark offers freshly made ice cream in every flavor you can imagine (check out the flavor calendar). Martha’s signature burgers, cheesesteaks, and specialties are always hot off the grill but make sure to leave room for a cone!

Lookout Bar & Grill: If you want to eat outside and enjoy a great view of Lake George this is the place for you. This local favorite features a huge outdoor deck and has a full menu with plenty of choices for adults and kids. Walking distance from the Village makes it a great lunchtime destination.

When you book your stay at Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge, it’s a good idea to start planning ahead by making reservations at the local restaurants. Lake George is a foodie destination, so restaurants are busy! Can’t decide where to go? Ask our friendly staff and they can recommend their favorite local spots.
